This nationally recognised qualification provides you with the necessary skills to facilitate person-centered services for both individuals and groups. You will learn community services essentials such as how to recognise and respond appropriately to domestic and family violence, how to work in an alcohol and other drugs context, how to facilitate individual service planning and delivery and how to work with people with mental health issues, amongst others. On successful completion of this program, you will be equipped to operate independently within prescribed frameworks or even oversee the work of others. The curriculum is designed to ready you for a spectrum of roles within community service and case management settings.
Note: This course is available through the Jobs & Skills WA Priority Industry Training and Work Readiness programs and a government funding discount is available for eligible students to enable fee-free training.
