In a Nutshell

The Master of Business Administration (Applied AI Leadership), offered by AIM Business School, is a postgraduate qualification designed for experienced managers and business professionals who want to develop the skills needed to lead in an increasingly digital and AI-driven economy. Accredited by TEQSA at Australian Qualifications Framework Level 9, the program combines business leadership foundations with a focused specialisation in AI strategy, data analytics and emerging technologies. It is delivered entirely online, making it well suited to working professionals balancing study with career and personal commitments.

The program is structured around an articulation pathway that begins with the Graduate Certificate in Applied AI Leadership and progresses through the Graduate Diploma in Applied AI Leadership before culminating in the master’s qualification. Students choose from core business disciplines such as decision-making, managerial finance, marketing management and operational improvement, alongside specialisation units covering AI strategy, governance and leadership, analytics and business transformation, and digital leadership. Three elective units allow students to tailor their studies to areas such as cybersecurity governance, entrepreneurship, organisational change management or project management. The program concludes with an Applied Capstone Project, where students apply their learning in a practical business context. Assessment is project-based, with no exams, and coursework is designed to be directly applicable to each student’s own workplace.

AIM Business School has designed this program for working professionals, with flexible intakes, a consistent seven-week unit structure and a fully online learning environment that can be accessed from any device. Students are supported by experienced faculty with senior industry backgrounds, as well as a dedicated student support team. FEE-HELP is available to eligible students, and entry pathways are available for experienced managers, including those without a bachelor’s degree. Because students earn a recognised qualification at each stage of the pathway, they can build their credentials as they go. The program is designed to prepare graduates for senior leadership roles that call for both strategic business thinking and the ability to bring AI and data-driven approaches into organisational decision-making.
