In a Nutshell

The On-Campus – Doctor of Engineering program offered by the Engineering Institute of Technology is designed for engineering professionals seeking to advance their expertise through applied research. Over a three-year period, students will engage in a comprehensive curriculum that combines coursework and a significant dissertation project. The first year focuses on foundational coursework and the development of a research proposal, while the second year delves deeper into advanced concepts and research methodologies relevant to the engineering field. The final year culminates in a dissertation that aims to contribute original knowledge to the industry, supported by academic and industry supervision.

This program stands out for its practical orientation, addressing real-world engineering challenges and preparing graduates for leadership roles in their respective fields. Unlike traditional PhD programs that may emphasise theoretical research, the Doctor of Engineering prioritises the application of knowledge to solve pressing industrial problems. Graduates will emerge with the skills necessary to conduct independent research and lead teams, making them valuable assets in the engineering workforce. Enquire to learn more.
