The Master of Mechanical Engineering from the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) is a dynamic postgraduate program designed to prepare students for leadership in the evolving world of mechanical engineering. The course includes six core subjects and two applied projects and can be completed in as little as one year full-time. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of the Sunshine Coast.
Graduates will have the skills and tools to lead teams at senior level both regionally and globally. Job titles could include Lead Mechanical Engineer, Principal Mechanical Engineer, or Senior Mechanical Engineer.
This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.
Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You’ll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $54,435 (2024-25 financial year).
Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP)
There are a limited number of Commonwealth Supported Places (CSP) for UniSC’s Master of Mechanical Engineering available for Trimester 1 2026. The cost of the Masters program with a CSP is $11,640 (normally $40,260).*
