To be eligible to study this course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

  • You must have completed the Certificate IV in Biometric Technologies (10837NAT) OR an equivalent qualification OR be able to demonstrate equivalent skills and knowledge and/or,
  • be currently working in a public or private sector agency that undertakes document examination work and/or,
  • have access to the following document examination equipment: scanner, microscope (with image capturing and enhancement facilities), stereo-microscope, multispectral imaging device, electrostatic detection apparatus, camera, various light sources, Adobe Photoshop.
