In a Nutshell

The CHC52025 Diploma of Community Services, offered by Celtic Training, is a nationally recognised qualification designed for people who want to build a meaningful career in community services or case management. The course prepares graduates to manage, coordinate, and deliver person-centred services to individuals, groups, and communities, working with a degree of autonomy under broad direction from senior management. It is well suited to those who are ready to take on greater responsibility within the community services sector and who want to make a genuine difference in people’s lives.

The course includes 100 hours of vocational placement, planned in collaboration with the student and a vocational placement officer. Delivered online over up to 12 months, it also covers case management, crisis response, mental health support and working with diverse communities. Students develop skills in legal and ethical compliance, promoting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural safety, recognising and responding to domestic and family violence, and supporting workplace wellbeing. Elective units allow students to further specialise in areas such as complex case coordination, behaviour support, and team leadership.

Available to students in South Australia, with new intakes commencing weekly, this qualification equips graduates to take on supervisory responsibilities, coordinate programs, and support the development of new service opportunities within the community sector. Graduates may find pathways into a variety of roles across government, non-profit, and private organisations. Enquire to learn more.
