The Graduate Certificate in Applied AI Leadership, offered by AIM Business School, is a postgraduate qualification designed for working professionals who want to build practical capability in artificial intelligence, data analytics and strategic leadership. Accredited at Level 8 on the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and delivered entirely online, the course is structured to fit around the demands of a professional career, with monthly intakes and a consistent seven-week unit format that makes study predictable and manageable.
The course covers a core foundation in leadership principles alongside specialisation units spanning AI strategy, governance and leadership, analytics and business transformation, data-driven decision making, and emerging digital technologies. Rather than relying on traditional exams, assessment is based on practical, real-world projects that participants can apply directly to their own organisational context. This approach means learners can begin applying their skills immediately, while building credentials that carry long-term professional value. The course can be completed in as little as four months, and successful graduates gain direct entry into the Graduate Diploma in Applied AI Leadership, forming part of a structured articulation pathway toward the Master of Business Administration (Applied AI Leadership).
The Graduate Certificate in Applied AI Leadership suits professionals at various career stages who are looking to strengthen their ability to lead AI adoption, interpret data-driven insights and engage credibly with both business and technical stakeholders. AIM Business School’s faculty bring senior industry experience to their teaching, and students benefit from personalised academic support throughout their studies. Those who can provide evidence of prior study or relevant experience may be eligible to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning, covering up to 50% of the course. Enquire to learn more.
