By the end of the course you will be equipped with all the knowledge you need to start engaging in more senior building roles such as site supervisor or site manager.

    The course is flexible with the pace at which you learn, but it's a good idea to keep a regular study schedule to make sure you're moving forward steadily. You've got to finish the qualification within a set time – anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. This gives you plenty of time to really get into the material and nail the qualification. Most students are expected to wrap up their studies in about 12 months.

    The self-paced version of this course is not covered by government funding.

    All entrants must be a minimum of 18 years of age at the time of enrolment.  Students will also be required to have:

    • Suitable level of English language, literacy and numeracy skills; and
    • A current Construction Induction Card (White Card); and
    • Access to a building and construction project worksite; or
    • Access to the Parker Brent Simulated Working Environment in Lalor.

    • CPCCBC4008 - Supervise site communication and administration processes for building and construction projects
