What You'll Need to Get In

To enrol, applicants must:

  • Be at least 16 years of age
  • Have sound language and literacy skills equivalent to Year 10 English
  • Have basic computer skills
  • Have access to required resources (see below)

South Sydney College (SSC) may require you to complete a Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital (LLND) skills evaluation. This helps SSC understand your learning needs and ensure you receive the right support to succeed in your course.

This course is available to domestic students only.

Resources Required
Students must provide or have access to:

  • A laptop with basic document software and internet access
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel-capped boots, and protective gloves
  • A basic automotive electrical hand tool kit suitable for workshop activities

All training facilities, workshop equipment, and learning resources are provided by South Sydney College.
