Created and led by industry professionals, this 100% online course will dive into how to provide specialised nutritional advice and evaluate general health, wellbeing and lifestyle and cover basic medical knowledge about the human body. You’ll learn how to effectively engage and communicate with a broad demographic of clients, including children and those of diverse cultural background; promote the importance of healthy eating in the community, educating on effective nutrition in accordance with the Australian Dietary Guidelines; pre-screen clients to identify and evaluate the risk of providing nutritional advice to clients in specific circumstances; and apply depth of understanding of diet-related diseases and associated terminologies in diverse contextual ranges.

Get on your feet with the Complete Personal Trainer Course from the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers (AIPT), in which you get two nationally recognised qualifications in the one course – SIS30321 Certificate III in Fitness AND SIS40221 Certificate IV in Fitness.

It’s blended learning, so you’ll be able to study the theory online, anytime you choose, plus you get 46 hours of practical experience in a real gym which can be done either of three ways:

• Campus Club – learn in a small group environment in one of Australia’s leading gyms.
• 1-to-1 Flexible Mentor – you will be matched with an AIPT personal trainer who will mentor you inside a real club.
• Mentor of Your Choice – if you already know a PT you’d like to work with, upon AIPT’s approval, they can mentor you.

There are 32 course units to complete. Complete one course unit every 2 weeks to graduate in 18 months.

This Australia-wide course consists of 15 course units which can be completed in up to 12 months, as well as 23.5 hours of face-to-face practical learning with a mentor. This can be completed with a 1-to-1 Flexible Mentor that AIPT will match you with, or a Mentor of your choice that AIPT could approve.

By studying essential industry aspects such as how to create effective personalised exercise programs, how to assess client movement and provide exercise advice, how to develop strength and conditioning techniques and how to plan and deliver online exercise sessions, you will gain the knowledge and confidence required to become a star personal trainer.

AIPT’s Fast-Track Personal Training Course consists of SIS40221 Certificate IV in Fitness, the qualification that allows you to start working as a qualified Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor, plus all the units you need to complete to become eligible to study the SIS40221 Certificate IV in Fitness (these units are a part of the SIS30321 Certificate III in Fitness), packaged into one convenient course.
