This is a specialised aged care course that aims to equip individuals with the necessary skills to provide assistance to vulnerable individuals. As a Cert 3 individual support worker, it is important to have a strong sense of compassion and empathy, along with effective communication skills that enable you to connect with those under your care.
MCFE's CHC33021 Certificate III Individual Support was once known as the Certificate III in Aged Care. This course is designed to provide comprehensive training that ensures graduates are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the aged care sector and excel in their roles as caregivers.
The course also features 120 hours of practical work placement in an approved aged care facility, where students will have opportunities to gain practical experience and confidence required to hit the ground running in your new aged care role.
