  • What You'll Need to Get In

    To do this course, you'll need:

    • A recognised bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in any discipline with a credit average of 65% or higher as per the UNSW Admissions entry calculator; AND
    • To be proficient in the English language.

    Entry via nested qualification 

    • If you have completed a Graduate Certificate in Financial Technology with a credit average of 65% or higher as per the UNSW Admissions entry calculator, you can progress to the Graduate Diploma in Financial Technology.

    Students can choose to study either:

    • Any 6 core subjects, plus 2 available elective courses; OR
    • Any 7 core subjects, plus 1 available elective course; OR
    • Any 8 core subjects.

    The 2022 Indicative Domestic Tuition Fee is $37,200. 

    The total indicative cost of completing your qualification depends on the elective courses you choose to complete and any recognition of prior learning before the commencement of your studies. Fees are subject to annual review by the University and may increase annually, with the new fees effective from the start of each calendar year. Indicative fees are a guide for comparison only based on current conditions and available data. You should not rely on indicative fees.

    Eligible students may be able to apply for a government loan scheme, FEE-HELP.

    You may be eligible to receive FEE-HELP for this course!

    This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.

    Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You'll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $48,361 (2022-23 income year).
