This course will give you all the skills you need to become an effective individual support professional through providing you with essential skills such as how to communicate and work in health or community services, how to support independence and well-being of clients, how to facilitate the empowerment of older people and how to provide support to people living with dementia.
This course also involves a minimum of 120 logged working hours within an Approved Service workplace which will allow you to complete a range of applicable work tasks, and Collaboration Learning will assist all students in finding appropriate placement for this component of the course.

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, although it is preferred that students have obtained a minimum of a School Certificate or equivalent.
Students will be required to provide a current National Police Check certificate prior to commencing work.
