  • What You'll Need to Get In

    All applicants must have an Australian bachelor degree, higher level qualification, or equivalent in any discipline with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 (out of 4.0).

  • Subject Breakdown

    While studying for the Juris Doctor qualification from RMIt online, you will need to complete a total of 18 core law subjects, and six electives.

    • In your first year of study, the core subjects you undertake will explore criminal law, torts, property and company law.
    • In your second year of study, your core subjects will cover international law, company law and constitutional law.
    • In your final year, core subjects include the study of evidence, and equity and trusts.

    You may be eligible to receive FEE-HELP for this course!

    This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.

    Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You'll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $48,361 (2022-23 income year).
