The Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) from Charles Sturt University provides students with a solid grounding in the field of psychology, and is the perfect platform to launch a successful career as a psychologist.
Students will be taught the fundamentals of human behaviour and learn how best to apply these to promote general welfare and treat behaviour and social difficulties.
The degree runs parallel with the first year of the Bachelor of Psychology, however entry requirements are less demanding. Students who achieve a high level of academic achievement may be eligible to transfer into the Bachelor of Psychology program.
Students studying via distance education ought to note this course includes a residential school component. Students will be required to travel to either the Bathurst or Wagga Wagga CSU campus to attend the component.

This course can be paid for through the HECS-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.
Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You'll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $55,874 (2017-18 income year).
