This course is part of a purpose-built nested degree program created by La Trobe, Amazon Web Services and Didasko. You will commence the Bachelor of Applied Cloud Technology program and have the option to exit after two successful years of study with an Associate Degree – a qualification that will open up a number of IT industry doors to you.
Throughout this fully online course, you'll cover all the basics of 'the cloud', from database and programming fundamentals to network engineering and information systems. You'll then move onto more specific subjects like virtualisation, cloud app development, operating systems and machine learning. By the time you graduate, you'll be ready to start your career and fill one of those gaps in the cloud services sector!

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive an Associate Degree of Applied Cloud Technology from La Trobe University.
Graduates are prepared to seek mid-level roles in the IT industry with average salary range of $60K–$80K+. Students also have the option of continuing their studies for a further year to complete the full Bachelor of Applied Cloud Technology.

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.
Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You'll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $46,620 (2020-21 income year).
