The Graduate Certificate in Data Science (Applied) is an alternative entry for students who cannot meet the Maths entry requirement of the Graduate Diploma of Data Science (Applied) and Masters of Data Science (Applied). The University of Adelaide has developed MathTrackX, a course which you can study alongside the Graduate Certificate which will allow you to grasp the basic concepts of Maths needed for the Graduate Diploma and Masters course. Upon successful completion of MathTrackX you will be able to move into the Graduate Diploma and Masters of Data Science (Applied) carousels.

The full cost of this course is $15,312 (or $3,828 per course unit). Students may pay fees upfront; alternatively, Australian citizens are eligible for a HELP loan.
To utilise a HELP loan, students must be enrolled by the enrolment deadline (census), and have not reached the HELP loan limit. Once offered a place in the program, you will be able to apply for a HELP loan as a part of the enrolment process.
This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.
Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You'll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $46,620 (2020-21 income year).
