    • Publication of written work on a public health issue in the media or in a professional publication;
    • Volunteer or paid work experience in a community organisation that seeks to advance the interests of a disadvantaged population or equivalent.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Master of Public Health from Edith Cowan University.

This qualification will equip you with the skills and knowledge required to seek employment in the competitive and exciting field of public health. You may choose to work in a program or project management role, or in health administration - using your skills in leadership, evaluation and critical thinking to tackle a diverse range of public health problems.

You may also choose to pursue a career in research or teaching. This qualification can lead to a Doctorate of Philosophy, allowing you to further specialise your public health knowledge. And if you're unable to complete this master's course, you may be eligible to exit with a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Public Health.

You may be eligible to receive FEE-HELP for this course!

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.

Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You'll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $55,874 (2017-18 income year).
