Responding to our most critical healthcare problems, public health considers the systems, structures and policies that deliver and determine health care. By studying this course, you'll develop the knowledge and skills required to work professionally as a leader in the public health sector.
In this course, you'll study the current global and environmental health issues, health policy, health systems and economics, and consider social, behavioural and cultural determinants of health. You'll analyse financial, legal and economic health policies, apply intervention strategies and management the teams that execute them, and identify, assess and communicate population health information to a wide range of audiences.
To maximise flexibility, this course is delivered entirely online. Students have access to experienced success coaches in order to maximise learning outcomes.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Master of Public Health from Torrens University Australia.
This qualification will equip you with the skills and knowledge required to work on the global stage in the exciting and challenging world of public and community health. Upon completion of this course, you may choose to work in health policy development, health promotion and community education, health administration, or in research.
You may also complete four units of this qualification to graduate with a Graduate Certificate in Public Health, or complete eight units to graduate with a Graduate Diploma in Public Health.

This course can be paid for through the FEE-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.
