Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Bachelor of Health Science (Sport and Exercise Science) from Western Sydney University.
This degree will equip you with the skills, knowledge and experience required to seek work across a range of roles in the health and fitness sector. After completing this degree, you may choose to work in a range of career options in health and fitness centres, working in government agencies associated with sport, in teaching and research, or in professional sporting groups, rehabilitation clinics and hospitals. You may choose to seek employment as a sport development officer, sports coach, sports administrator, or sport scientist.

If you are an Australian citizen, you may be eligible to receive a government HECS-HELP loan, meaning you can defer payment of your fees. Alternatively, you can pay your degree fees upfront.
This course can be paid for through the HECS-HELP government loan scheme. If you are an Australian citizen or hold a permanent humanitarian visa, you may not need to pay upfront.
Instead, the Australian government will pay your course fees directly to the provider on your behalf. You'll begin repaying your loan through the tax system once you start earning more than the minimum threshold of $45,881 (2019-20 income year).
