About WA Government Funded Courses
TAFEs and RTOs authorised by the government offer funded courses in Western Australia (WA). The government covers the course fee, but additional expenses such as facilities, services, textbooks, and study materials may apply. Fees are determined by the providers.
Various government funding schemes exist in WA for vocational education and training (VET). The State Government administers WA Jobs and Skills and Lower Fees, which incorporates the program Fee Free in ’23 – extended into ’24, enabling some courses to be offered by some education training providers with no tuition fee payable by the student.
