About SA Government Funded Courses
Courses from quality, well-established, and trusted Government-funded Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and TAFE providers in SA like InterCare Training and Enhance Training. The government subsidises the course fee, but additional expenses such as facilities, services, textbooks, and study materials may apply. The funding goes directly to the provider and any course fees are determined by the provider.
Government funding in SA spans a variety of vocational training (VET) qualifications, including certificate III, certificate IV, and advanced diplomas. Accredited short courses (skill sets for targeted upskilling) and pre-apprenticeship pathway courses (certificate II) also receive subsidies. Skilling South Australia offers course subsidies and apprenticeships to students of all ages. Community services courses featured include Certificate IIIs and Certificate IVs for those in Adelaide and surrounding areas.

Eligible students can undertake subsidised courses in a virtual classroom or on-campus. Not all education providers or courses receive subsidies, with some being fee-for-service, where full payment must be made by you or your employer.
Funding programs generally require you to be a South Australian resident and be one of the following: Australian citizen; or a permanent Australian resident; or a New Zealand citizen; and/or an eligible visa holder.
