Designed for students with no academic background in theological study seeking to advance a thought-leading theological path, this qualification provides the foundation skills and knowledge required to deeply understand and interpret theological texts and traditions, and offers broad scope for advanced study in a range of different theological areas.
Choose from a diverse range of subjects to shape your learning, including a specialisation in either contemporary Christian practice, early Christianity, Christian thought, liturgy, ethics or philosophy. This qualification will equip you with the advanced skills, knowledge and experience required to pursue specialised research or theological practise. You'll build advanced skills in research, analysis, evaluation and communication, and may choose to apply these skills to areas of specialised theological or social research. You may also choose to take your advanced theological knowledge to a career as a parish leader or religious counsellor or educator.
