  • Prerequisites


    To be eligible for this course, you must meet the following entry requirements:

    • You are expected to have language, literacy, numeracy and communication skills to at least Year 10 level.
    • Note: If you cannot read and write documents and complete maths work to the level required you may be accepted to the course, but you may be enrolled in additional subjects to help you build the skills needed to successfully complete the program.
    • Online applicants will be selected based on their application, and may be required to undertake an informal interview with the course coordinator prior to enrolment.

     Recognition of prior learning (RPL) may be available for skills and knowledge obtained through previous study or other relevant experience.

All course fees at The Gordon are comprised of tuition, student amenities, and materials costs. Depending on your personal circumstances, you may fall into one of the following fee categories:

  • Standard – you meet the eligibility criteria for access to the government subsidised Victorian Training Guarantee (VTG).
  • Concession – you meet the VTG eligibility criteria AND hold a current healthcare or pension card.
  • Full-fee paying/Fee for Service (FFS) – you do not meet the VTG eligibility criteria
