Interested in the possibilities of a career in modern science? The Diploma of Laboratory Technology (MSL50109) combines on-campus study with hands-on industry experience, equipping you with the skills and knowledge to perform diverse laboratory work in a number of fields.
Specialising in biotechnology and pathology testing, this on-campus TAFE course will teach you to apply and carry out a range of processes and procedures, including aseptic techniques, microscopic examinations and haematological, microbiological and pathology tests. You’ll study in a simulated clinical laboratory environment using the latest technology and equipment.
Regular self-directed learning and an obligatory work placement make this an ideal pathway for a fulfilling science career.
