This is a specialist online unit for qualified plumbers wishing to accrue further specialist qualifications. The Course in Plumbing - Roofing (CPC40912) covers roof drainage systems, and completion of this course is essential to apply for a Victorian Building Authority (VBA) licence for this plumbing specialisation.
You will also complete three common units covering risk management, cost and estimate, and business during this TAFE course.
Although this course is delivered predominantly online, you will be required to attend one face-to-face session at The Gordon's East Geelong campus or Werribee Learning Centre for an introduction to the online learning system. Subsequent sessions, offered once per month, are optional.

Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a Statement of Attainment in CPCPRF4011B - Design and size roof drainage systems from Gordon Institute of TAFE. This unit forms part of the Certificate IV in Plumbing and Services (CPC40912).
This course covers units that are compulsory to complete before applying for a licence with the Victorian Building Authority (VBA). Upon successful completion of your exam, you will be able to work as a licenced plumber specialising in roofing (stormwater).
